Galarien Policies

Guests are requested to read and understand the Cancellation, Refund, Relocation, Reschedulement and other Policies applicable before making a booking.

Please note, Galarien Hospitality has 2 policies -
standard and strict - to protect the interests of both Guest(s) and Home Owner(s), alike. Please check carefully, which Policy applies to the Home.

Standard/Moderate Cancellation Policy

In case a Guest has booked online on the website without any assistance from the Call Center, he/ she is entitled to a 24 hours FREE Cancellation policy from time of booking. Refunds into your bank accounts usually take 5-7 working days. This does not apply to a booking where Check-in date is 5 days from the date of confirmation of booking.

A Guest is entitled to a refund of 75% if he/she cancels the confirmed booking upto 15 days before the Date of Check-In (before 1 PM).

A Guest is entitled to a refund of 50% if he/she cancels the confirmed booking upto 7 days before the Date of Check-In (before 1 PM)

If the Guest cancels within 7 days of the Date of Check-In, he/she is entitled to no refund.

If the Guest has made a partial payment, he/she is entitled to no refund whatsoever.

Bookings for X Series Homes cannot be cancelled, rescheduled, and are non-refundable.

Strict Cancellation Policy

In case a Guest has booked online on the website without any assistance from the Call Center, he/ she is entitled to a 24 hours FREE Cancellation policy from time of booking. Refunds into your bank accounts usually take 5-7 working days. This does not apply to a booking where Check-in date is 5 days from the date of confirmation of booking.

After this 24 hour window passes, bookings for Homes that have the Strict Cancellation Policy cannot be cancelled, rescheduled, and are non-refundable.

If the Guest has made a partial payment, he/ she is not entitled to any refund whatsoever.

Bookings for X Series Homes cannot be cancelled, rescheduled, and are non-refundable.

Special Covid19 Cancellation Policy

In light of the threat of Covid-19 impacting your travel plans, the following policies apply

Cancellations done 72 hours prior to check-in, Guest can choose to avail 90% refund OR opt to reschedule as per the existing reschedulement policy (without any reschedulement charges). Cancellation requests will be accepted upto 72 hours prior to check-in time of 1 PM.

Cancellations done within 72 hours of check-in, Guest can reschedule as per the existing reschedulement policy (with 10% reschedulement charges).

Cancellation requests will not be accepted within 24 hours prior to check-in time of 1 PM, and will be considered a no-show.

In case of a booking being cancelled because of a lockdown imposed by local authorities or travel restrictions being introduced, Guests have a choice of a reschedule on any non peak days within the next 6 months, or 100%

Cancellation by Galarien Hospitality: Galarien Hospitality will provide one of the following options.

Galarien Hospitality reserves to right to cancel a booking

Book an alternative comparable available Home

Galarien Hospitality shall offer Travel Credit (validity of 6 months from date of issuance) of the full amount paid + 10% value of the existing booking that may be redeemed while booking a new home.

A full refund for the total amount paid. The refund shall be processed within 5-7 working days from the date of cancellation.

Reschedule Policy:

Galarien Hospitality allows reshedulement only upto 15 days before the Date of Check-In (before 1 PM).

Galarien Hospitality charges a 30% Reschedulement Charge + Taxes for any bookings that may have to be rescheduled.

If the tariff on the dates to which the booking is being rscheduled to, is higher than the tariffs of the original booking, the difference is payable to Galarien Hospitality (along with applicable GST), along with the Reschedulement charge.

The new booking can only be made on the same Home during any non-peak weekdays, check-In applicable upto 2 months from the original Date of Check-In.

Reshedulement charge is applicable, every time the booking is rescheduled.

Relocation Policy:

Relocation (to another Home) is not permitted, once a booking is confirmed.

Early Check-in and Late Check-out Policy:

Our standard check-in time is 1 pm and check-out time is 10 am.

We'd be happy to offer you a complimentary early check-in by 12 noon, provided there's no booking at the villa for the previous night. Please confirm with us a day prior to the check-in. In case you wish to avail an earlier check-in (earliest possible is 9:00 am), charges are applicable. The rate is 20% of the tariff for that night.

We'd be happy to offer a complimentary late check-out by 11:00 am if there's no booking at the villa on the day of your checkout. However, we can only let you know by 8 am on your checkout date as we do accept instant online and last-minute bookings.

In case you wish to avail a further extended checkout (post 11:00 am), charges are applicable. The rate is 20% of the tariff for that night for a Checkout up to 3 pm, and 40% upto 6 pm. Full night charges apply thereafter.

It is at the discretion of Galarien Hospitality, whether to offer early check-in or late check-out.

Processing Refunds

In case of any refunds that Galarien Hospitality owes Guest(s), the processing shall be completed within 5-7 working days.

A nominal cancellation fee of 5% shall be levied for processing refunds by Galarien Hospitality. This is levied to cover payment gateway charges along with a minimal processing charge.
